Erudia is a place to learn mathematics. Almost everything follows from that. This policy is specific so that neither of us has to guess.
Use it to learn
Do the lessons, the reviews, the duels and the worksheets. Print a book for yourself or for a class you teach. Copy a problem into your notes. Share a link to a lesson. Tell us when something is wrong. All of that is what the service is for.
Do not
Attack the service. No probing, overloading, denial of service, bypassing rate limits or the paid tier, or interfering with other learners' use.
Scrape or republish the curriculum. If you hold an account you agree not to bulk-download, scrape or republish the lessons, problems or generated content, or to use them to train a model. This clause binds account holders; it says nothing about what an anonymous visitor's browser renders.
Cheat the leaderboards. No automating answers, falsifying progress, XP, ratings or speed scores, or using more than one account.
Share or sell an account. One person, one account. Do not sign in to someone else's.
Misstate your age. The age screen is how we keep younger learners safe, and it works only if the answer is true.
Post what you may not. In the community, nothing unlawful, harassing, hateful, sexual, or that infringes anyone's rights, and no problems copied from a source you do not have permission to reproduce. The Community and Copyright Policy has the details.
Harm anyone. Do not use the service to harm another person or to break a law that applies to you.
What happens if you do
We may remove content, limit a feature, suspend an account, or end it. Where we can, we warn you first and tell you what rule was broken. Community actions come with a written reason, and you can ask us to reconsider by replying to it or emailing erudia@erudia.org. We keep a record of what we did and why. A suspension for cheating removes the affected scores from the leaderboards.
Security research
If you find a security problem, tell us at erudia@erudia.org before telling anyone else, give us a reasonable time to fix it, and do not access other people's data or disrupt the service while you look. We will not take action against research done that way.
